Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Develop skills to manage emotions and improve relationships. Over the course of 8 weeks, participants will engage in interactive sessions, with 2 weeks dedicated to each of the 4-core skill sets.
Mindfulness: Practice mindfulness exercises to increase self-awareness and reduce reactivity to stressors.
Emotional Regulation: Strategies for identifying, understanding, and effectively managing intense emotions.
Interpersonal Effectiveness: Enhance communication skills, set boundaries, and navigate interpersonal conflicts with confidence and assertiveness.
Distress Tolerance: Acquire skills to manage overwhelming emotions and tolerate distressing situations. Develop healthy coping mechanisms and self-soothing techniques to navigate challenging moments.
